But AFTER the round actually begins? That’s where the line has been blurred by the clip after the jump: Touch gloves. Drop guard. BOOM. 7 second TKO. This fight happened in March. Watch and draw your own conclusions…my thoughts: Shut up, people. The fight had already started! Touch at your own risk!

But it’s not in hell…Satan is the rather odd nickname of MMA strength and conditioning coach Norm Turner, and in this short clip he puts his best-known charge through a grueling endurance test. Lucky for us this charge of his just happens to be one Gina Carano, who really works up a sweat for us. It’s a short clip (less than 2 minutes) but nice while it lasts. This is one of those classic “don’t blink” videos. At this past Saturday’s PureCombat event, former WEC Fighter Steve Ramirez faced off against Darvin Wattree. As seen in this amateur-shot video clip, Ramirez didn’t touch gloves during pre-fight instructions. Should’ve been a warning to Wattree. Fast forward to the 51-second mark of the clip after the jump for the fight and don’t blink. The fight will be over in 3 seconds.

So UFC just put up several videos from the successful submission grappling tournament they held at the UFC Fan Expo during UFC 100 week, and this one also made it’s way to the net: Dominic Batara vs. Ethan Aquila. Who? Yeah, you’ve never heard of them because they’re children! After the jump, watch them put on an entertaining-and surprisingly good-match. These kids have a future in MMA! Check out the awesome finish at about the 2:30 mark. I’m sure their parents were proud of them, I certainly was. Good match and good sportsmanship too.

OK, this is just a post-event interview with Arianny, but hey, it’s Arianny! In this short (about 4 minutes) interview recorded after the event, Arianny talks UFC 100, Holly Madison as a ring girl (My thoughts on Holly: FAIL), her future in UFC & other work, and in the last minute or so some really funny stuff as a couple of the questions get downright silly…not to mention how to win her heart. No, she never dated Roger Huerta (despite rumors to the contrary, they were just friends) and thus is available! Funny MMA Video Of The Day: Mistaking Door For Mustacheagatti

That’s a reference to UFC referee Steve Mazzagatti, now clean-shaven but who sported quite the mustache until late last year, some like me dubbed it the “Mustacheagatti”. The “mistaking” comes from Brock Lesnar, who in this clip recently re-watched the end of his UFC 81 fight where he “slapped” against Frank Mir. Towards the end he would seem to mistake a door in a gym for Mustacheagatti, you’ll see what happens in the final seconds of this clip. Check it out after the jump.

You know what that means! The second clip is a clash of foes-and fashion-as rico swave Michael Bisping & wardrobe FAIL (courtesy of some UFC dingbat) Dan Henderson practice parking lot staredowns. These confrontations are staged/rehearsed/planned/etc., or as us wrestling fans would call them, “works”.

Lucky b*stards. 2 videos actually, I thought I had put up the first one after I saw it recently but turns out I didn’t. So after the jump are a TV reporter getting an interview-and rear naked choke-courtesy of Cristiane Santos then a clip from FSN’s “Sport Science” with the show’s host-having already survived being legit RNC’d by Fedor Emelianenko-getting to live out one of our MMA fantasies-getting RNC’d by Gina Carano. MMA Video Of The Day: Get Down…AND STAY DOWN!

In other words, this is your HOLY S**T! moment of the day. At Bellator 11 this past weekend, Nick Pace beat Colin Tebo in 97 seconds by KO, but the moment immortalized on video is the final seconds of the fight and the finish, consisting of a big flying knee and a H-U-G-E followup punch that totally knocks the already out Tebo into further-out land. Normally I wouldn’t post a video of someone like UFC fighter Matthew Riddle going to the “fight dentist” to show how UFC fighters get fitted for their mouthpieces, but seeing the lovely Arianny standing there as an assistant of sorts is reason enough to…especially seeing how well she handles some of the equipment. She’s one of only two reasons I’d look forward going to the dentist-the other would be my soon-to-be-employed-by-one ex-girlfriend, and that’s for reasons I’m keeping to myself (OK, and she’s really sweet and would take great care of me because she still cares about me a lot).
