Harumi Nemoto Picture Gallery
Harumi Nemoto (aka Nemoto Harumi) is a popular 29-year-old gravure/bikini idol and who I would consider to be my favorite idol. She is associated with the Yellow Cab talent agency, so sometimes she’s called a “Yellow Cab Girl”. She has done photoshoots for books, magazines, and at least 2 DVDs in Japan. She primarily does swimsuit and bikini modeling, but has done some cosplay shoots and lingerie shoots. She does not do porn or nudity (full or partial). She has also appeared on TV game shows, most notably “Sasuke” (which airs in the US on the cable network G4 as “Ninja Warrior”), where she once competed in a special women-only version called “Kunoichi” (aired as “Women Of Ninja Warrior” in the US). She’s very tall by idol standards at 5’5″ and has an athletic build-her measurements are 103I-60-88 cm (Japanese measurements are in centimeters, in inches/US measurements it translates into a very nice 41F-24-35). Her hobbies include scuba diving and body boarding. She has also written a column in the Japanese manga (comic/graphic novel) magazine “Manga Life” called “Nemoto Harumi no Natural Peace” (Harumi Nemoto’s Natural Peace, I think) since October 2007. And as perhaps another testament to her continuing popularity and appeal, a poll taken earlier this year in Japan of the 10 sexiest gravure/bikini idols saw her rank #5 on the list…but she’s #1 on my list. Although she claimed in late 2008 she intended to keep modeling despite approaching 30 (considered the unofficial old/retirement age for gravure idols), it appears she is no longer modeling (her last photobook/DVD was released in late 2008) but remains active as an idol/entertainer, still making appearances on Japanese TV. Even if she won’t be doing any more modeling she’ll always be one of my favorite bikini idols.
