“Believe in yourself. Believe in your own potential for greatness. Believe that you can change the world. It is something that is within each of us.”

Even though he was eliminated a while back, the perk of being on Dancing With The Stars is you get to come back for one last dance on the season finale and just have fun with it. Lucky for us, that meant Chuck Liddell returned for a martial arts-inspired dance with Anna as well as Mark Dacascos. It’s short, cheesy and yet still funny and enjoyable. Here’s the clip:
I got a few laughs out of it and it seemed Chuck enjoyed it. We now return you to your regularly scheduled “Liddell Back To UFC?” rumors.
Chuck Liddell was eliminated from Dancing With The Stars last night. It was between Chuck, Aaron Carter and Louie Vito. Ultimately Chuck got Das Boot. His post-show speech: “I had fun. We had a good time. We made a run at it, but it’s difficult. It’s hard to do.” Indeed. Disappointed it ends now but a great run nonetheless.
That means no more Dancing recaps for me, at least this season. Now it’s back to pondering his next move. More TV? Back to UFC? We Shall See.
They got 17 points, which ties them for 3rd-worst (Michael Irvin and Tom DeLay were worse and 2nd-worst, Chuck is tied for 3rd-worst with Debi Mazar). Hopefully they’ll get enough votes to stay safe another week. VOTE FOR CHUCK!
MMA’s latest mainstream breakthrough comes in the form of former UFC champion Chuck Liddell, who is competing on this season of the ABC show “Dancing With The Stars”. His first dance was last night, click below for the video and details on voting and more.
Sorry my photoshopping skills won’t allow me to add a funny pic here, but next month I’m going to start doing something I’ve never done before: Watch (and recap) season 9 of “Dancing With The Stars”. I’ll be dubbing my column here “Dancing With The Iceman” because my focus will be on UFC Hall Of Famer Chuck Liddell, named as one of the 16 celebs competing this season. I’m already wondering who he’ll be paired with. Anyone else think it’s old flame Willa Ford? Either way I’ll do it as long as Chuck’s on before he either wins or eliminated…which will likely be all of one episode! But nonetheless this is something I’m going to have fun with, I hope. This will start up September 21, when the new season premieres. See you then!
(PS-My early preseason pick to win it all, and I’ve done well with these in the past: Olympic swimmer Natalie Coughlin)
Earlier today I came across a funny promo clip developed in conjunction with a series of MMA training DVDs being created with the help of UFC Middleweight Champion Anderson Silva. They also include this rather funny clip, viewable after the jump:
A bit of MMA humor I’ve just come across, normally I’m not a music video person, ditto for Mandy Moore, but this one’s worth watching just for Chuck Liddell’s appearance…and what happens after that. Video and instructions to properly watch after the jump.

It’s time for what now seems to be our bi-annual dose of MM-Eh as UFC returns to Canada for UFC 97 on April 18 from Montreal. While this go-around won’t be headed by hometown (and national) hero Georges St. Pierre, there will be both a UFC record attempt and 2 fighters looking for the event’s subtitle: “Redemption”. Will they get it? Will the record be re-written? In the meantime, seek Redemption at the altar of Confuseyus by clicking below to read on.
