For the next stop on the 2010 UFC World Tour, it’s off to the Middle East for the first time as UFC makes it’s debut in Abu Dhabi this Saturday afternoon. And it’ll be a loaded card with both Lightweight & Middleweight Title fights scheduled and the debut of another Gracie in the Octagon. Click below for predictions for the event as our resident prognosticator tries to keep a recent slump-busting hot streak going.
Usual disclaimer: As always, these picks are strictly for entertainment purposes only and should not be used as the basis for any real-life betting/wagering. A “NC” in a fighter’s record indicates No Contest. All fighter rankings are based on the latest MMAWeekly World MMA Rankings.

This was to have been Silva vs. Vitor Belfort for the title, but Belfort is off due to a shoulder injury. Belfort is likely out another 4-6 months.
Prediction: Silva by unanimous/majority decision.
I originally planned to get the PPV live, but it falls on the day of a major event that I try to get to every year and with the time difference, I almost certainly will miss the live show so I won’t be doing live results. Not sure if I’ll try and get the replay in the usual PPV timeslot but I probably will not (I’ll be really tired from a long day and there’s NASCAR).
